From September 2021 we will change our Sunday Service starting time to a Morning Service.
On the first, second and fourth Sunday the Sunday Service starts at 11 am.
On the third and fifth Sunday the Sunday Service starts in the evening from 5 pm.
Because of the Corona Virus, we will contiune to have our Sunday Service online, but you may also come an join our Sunday Service at AHC.
But still you may also join us at Instagram or Zoom. Please check out the address.

Q1 What denomination does the Ai Hope Church belong to?
Our Church belongs to a traditional Protestant denomination called “Japan Free Evangelical Church (JFEC)” （in Japanese「Domei Fukuin Kirisuto Kyokai」）. This denomination has about 27 Churches in Aichi, Mie and Gifu.
Q2 Can anyone attend the Sunday Service?
Sure, anyone is welcome. On Sundays we have a Sunday Service. And during the week we have different Biblestudies, Englishclasses, Gospelclasses, Kidsprogram,…. And you can come and talk to the Pastor, if you have anything on your heart. The Sunday Service is of course free of charge.
Q3 May I bring my children to the Sunday Service, too?
Yes, sure. In the Church is a room for mothers with their small children. And for the kindergarden kids and elementary school kids there is a message time for kids during the Sunday Service. Of course as parents you can also join the “Kids Church”-time.
Q4 Do I need to bring anything with me when attending the Sunday Service?
No, you don`t need to bring anything special. The Bibleverses and the songs will be viewed on the screen. In Japanese we are normally using the “New Translation Bible 2017”, and the hymns we are singing are mainly “Worship Songs”.
Q5 Usually how may people attend the Sunday Service?
Usually about 20 people are attending.
Q6 Do you have a parking place?
There is a parking place next to the Ai HOPE Church, you may use. If there will be no space open, please feel free to ask at the Church. You also can easily access to the Ai HOPE Church by train. Konomiya station of the Meitetsuline is about 5 min by foot, Inazawa station of the JR line is about 15 min by foot.
Q7 I`m worried because I`m attending for the first time…
Don`t worry, we will welcome you at the entrance and show you around. If you are the first time at Church or have never read the Bible, then expecially the 3rd Sunday Worship is for you. It`s an easy to understand Worship time. It starts in the evening at 5 pm. But you are also very welcome to come to any of the Sunday Service times. We are waiting for you to come.
Q8 I have heard you give a donation at Church…?
There will be a time during the Sunday Service when you can give a donation, but it is not an obligation. You don`t need to give anything.
Q9 Is there any program I can participate after the Worship time?
After the Sunday Service we often meet in small groups for fellowship. You may join, if you would like to. There are also different programs on Sunday afternoon and during the week. You are very welcome to join us.
Q10 Is there an English translation during the Sunday Service?
Sometimes the Sunday Service is bilingual. But even when the message is in Japanese, we can translate for you into English.
